Drew Kitchens is a Mississippi entrepreneur, investor, and business owner dedicated to building companies that create opportunity and serve their communities. In 2022, he founded Kitchens Investment Group (K.I.G.) with a vision of developing businesses that generate long-term value, create meaningful careers, and leave a lasting legacy across Mississippi.

What began as an investment company soon became a launching point for new ventures built on integrity, innovation, and strong relationships.

In late 2025, Drew was approached by his longtime friend and neighbor, Kurt Welch, a seasoned roofing professional with decades of experience in the industry. Sharing a common vision for delivering exceptional service and craftsmanship, the two partnered to launch Storm Shield Roofing & Construction in January 2026.

As Owner & Founder, Drew oversees the company's strategic growth, operations, and long-term vision, while Kurt leads production and field operations. Together, they have built Storm Shield on a commitment to quality workmanship, honest communication, and treating every customer's home as if it were their own.

A proud Brandon, Mississippi resident, Ole Miss alumnus, and father of two, Drew believes success is measured not only by the businesses you build but by the people you serve and the legacy you leave behind. Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, Rick Jones has built his career on hard work, dependability, and a commitment to serving his community. With years of hands-on experience in residential repairs and construction, Rick has developed a reputation for solving problems the right way and delivering quality workmanship on every project.

As Repair Manager at Storm Shield Roofing & Construction, Rick specializes in identifying roofing issues before they become major problems. From leak detection and emergency storm repairs to fascia, soffit, siding, and general exterior repairs, he takes pride in providing homeowners with honest recommendations and lasting solutions.

Rick believes that every repair—no matter the size—deserves the same attention to detail and level of craftsmanship as a full roof replacement. His customer-first approach and dedication to doing the job right have made him a trusted resource for homeowners throughout Central Mississippi.
